1. What Quilla News is
Quilla News is a digital news outlet covering finance and technology in Colombia and worldwide. We publish short summaries, in Spanish and English, of stories originally published by other outlets, and each one links to the original source.
Part of our content is generated and published automatically with the help of artificial intelligence. A human team may withdraw or correct it after publication.
2. Third-party content and sources
Headlines, brands, images and original texts belong to their outlets and rights holders. We show only our own summary, key points, a short excerpt where strictly necessary, attribution and a link to the source.
We do not reproduce the full text of the original stories. To read the full story, use the “Read the full story at…” link on each item.
3. AI-generated content
Every AI-generated summary is labelled as such. AI systems can make mistakes, omit context or misread a figure or a name.
The original source always prevails. If you find an error, write to [CORREO LEGAL] and we will review it.
4. Not advice
Content on the Site is informational. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax or any other kind of advice, nor a recommendation to buy or sell assets. Consult a qualified professional before making decisions.
5. Third-party links and sites
The Site links to third-party pages. We do not control their content, policies or availability and are not responsible for them. You access them at your own risk.
6. Intellectual property and permitted use
The Site design, brand, code and our summaries belong to [RAZÓN SOCIAL] or its licensors. You may read them, share links and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the Site.
You may not copy, redistribute or sell the content in bulk, or present it as your own, without written permission.
7. Prohibited conduct
By using the Site you agree not to:
- extract content in an automated or bulk manner (scraping) in a way that harms the service;
- attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
- introduce malicious code or overload the infrastructure;
- use the Site for unlawful activities or to infringe third-party rights;
- post comments, posts or polls that are offensive, discriminatory, misleading, spam or that infringe third-party rights;
- present opinions as investment advice or promise returns;
- vote or report with several accounts or with automated tools.
Community comments, posts and polls: you are responsible for what you post and you authorise us to display it on the Site until you delete it. Content reported by several people is hidden until a moderator reviews it, and we may remove any content without notice. You can delete your own comments and posts at any time. Community opinions belong to their authors and are not recommendations from Quilla News.
Each person votes once per poll; results are shown in aggregate, without saying who voted for what. If you break these terms, a moderator may block your account: you will still be able to read, but not post, comment, vote or report. The "Verified analyst" badge is granted by the administration after checking the person's track record; it does not endorse their opinions.
8. Rights-holder claims and content removal
If you hold rights over content that appears on the Site, or believe a story is inaccurate or infringes your rights, write to [CORREO LEGAL] with: your identification, the link to the story on Quilla News, which content you object to and the basis of your request.
We review every request as a priority. Where reasonable, we withdraw the story while we review it. We may remove content at any time and in all languages.
9. Limitation of liability
The Site is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, [RAZÓN SOCIAL] is not liable for damages arising from use of the Site, errors or omissions in summaries, service interruptions or decisions made on the basis of the content. This does not limit liability that Colombian law does not allow to be limited.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is the one published here, with its date. If changes are significant we will say so on the Site. Continuing to use it means you accept them.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of [CIUDAD], without prejudice to any rights the law grants to consumers.
