Apple acknowledges a "problem" with the iPhone Duo's screen crease and suggests requesting a replacement
Apple acknowledged a "problem" affecting the inner screen of a "small number of units" of the iPhone Duo, its first foldable phone, after user complaints about cracks along the crease. The company asked those customers to contact AppleCare for a replacement and described the issue as limited. The device, priced at $1,999, reached stores on October 23 with strong demand and delivery dates pushed back to 2027. Repairing the inner screen costs $999 out of warranty.
