Lumu secures U.S. patent for its automated cyber threat response technology
Colombian company Lumu Technologies obtained a patent in the United States for an artificial intelligence-based technology that automates response to cyber threats. Patent 12,712,891 B2, titled "Systems and Methods for Mitigation and Remediation of Cybersecurity Threats", protects mechanisms to identify incidents, assess their characteristics and execute containment actions. Geotab announced the commercial launch in Colombia, as of October 2026, of GO Anywhere, a family of tracking devices for trailers and cargo vehicles.
