Elon Musk promised in July that Grok Imagine, xAI's image and video generation tool, would have a feature film based on Homer's 'Odyssey' ready before the end of 2026, after harshly criticizing Christopher Nolan's version. Three months later, the first seven minutes of that project have been published: a video conceived as a first chapter, made with Grok Imagine by production company Wonder Studios under director Dev Walker. Reactions on X have been mixed, ranging from praise for its photorealism to criticism of its cinematic quality.
