Google Messages for Android is testing a homepage redesign with three core components, according to 9to5Google. Pinned chats are elevated above all other conversations with large contact photos, a layout similar to iMessage on iOS. 'Backglow' app lets users customize the glowing logo on the new MacBook Pro
Designer Juan Buis created "Backglow", an app that lets users customize the illuminated logo on the lid of the new MacBook Pro models. The free version manually adjusts the logo's brightness independently of the display brightness, turns it off with one click and offers a "Breathe" mode that makes the light gently pulse. The Pro version, a one-time payment of $9 for a limited time ($15 later), adds "Music" and "Agents" modes. Apple brought back the glowing logo with the 14- and 16-inch models with PROLED XDR displays.
