Google DeepMind unveils Genie 4, its world model that generates sound natively

Google DeepMind presented Genie 4 on October 27, its new "world model": an artificial intelligence system that generates interactive environments in real time and, for the first time in this family, produces sound natively. That audio includes music, ambient noise and spoken dialogue from the characters that inhabit each scene.
