Ride-hailing drivers in Colombia can now get car loans without a payroll

Drivers on ride-hailing apps in Colombia will be able to access credit to buy their own vehicle without a payroll, according to the report. The text notes that working daily, completing dozens of trips and earning income through an app did not previously guarantee access to financing for many self-employed workers in the country, for whom the lack of a payroll remained an obstacle.
