Chile's Undersecretary of International Economic Relations, Paula Estévez, said in an interview with El Comercio that Peru is the third destination for Chilean investment, with an accumulated stock of nearly US$12 billion, within the framework of the 20th anniversary of the bilateral free trade agreement. Estévez highlighted opportunities in mining, energy, logistics and retail, and noted interest from Peruvian capital in Chile. She also mentioned the bi-oceanic road corridor between Sao Paulo and Antofagasta and the renewal of Chilean maritime concessions scheduled for 2029.
